Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Technician

Department: Fixed Operations

Reports To: Fixed Operations Director

SUMMARY

• Routine maintenance and inspection of automotive service equipment to include lifts, a/c machines, tire changers, wheel balancers, alignment machines, and any other equipment on sites.
• Perform additional support with service and parts facilities with repairs and maintenance which may include drywall repair, painting, and minor construction if needed.
• Travel from location to location to perform services in the field as well as bring back defective units to equipment shop to perform repairs.
• Log inventory and condition of equipment for all locations and maintain spare equipment for temporary backups for failed equipment.
• Reconcile and refurbish all un-used, broken, and extra equipment at stores.
• Learn the full operation of all shop equipment and the proper usage of equipment.
• Train technicians on the proper use and care of equipment when necessary.
• Obtain certification and licensing for repairs when possible, to include shop equipment, lifts, and forklifts.
• Perform repairs on shop equipment quickly. Repair estimates will be made for all equipment with approvals going to Fixed Ops team.
• Coordinate schedule and assignments by maintaining contact with Fixed Ops team.
• Review KPA results and perform repairs as necessary.

Preferred Experience:

At least one year of work performing repair, maintenance, and diagnosis on mechanical or electrical components 

Or

Technical Certification from Trade School or University

Pay:

$10/Hour+ Depending on Experience
